Day 45:Psalm 45- A Special Message to Young Women and Teens

Dear Friends,
Today I have a special message for young ladies and teen girls out there. Guys you are welcome to read this and learn what women are supposed to focus on first, and you will be surprised.  Psalm 45: 11 says, "Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him for He is your Lord." This Psalm is talking about King Jesus the Messiah and His bride. The bride is Christ's church; but just for today, let's look at this as "just girls".

Ladies we often so busy throwing our beauty around at guys, their FB pages and phones, that we forget to honor God first. We forget or stop throwing ourselves at His feet! We forget to ask these words or even consider what our “love” wants. We should be asking God: what should I wear, what should I say today, whom should I go to for you my love? Instead, you may look into your closet and say to yourself, “if I wear that _____, he might notice me more, want to keep me, or help me to look sexier.”  Where should your focus be? You know the answer to that. "Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him for He is your Lord." (Psalm 45:11).

 For some, you have never loved Jesus that much to have your whole life revolve around Him; for others, you have, but you let your love slip away. Losing the fire in your relationship with God, seems to be easy to happen if you are craving male love and attention so much so that you will do anything! Girls, I have been there myself, and I hope my warning will save you of so much boy pain that is unnecessary!

So, how does one allow the Lord to be enthralled in ones's beauty? By spending time at HIs feet. Start by getting to know Jesus for the first time or again, if you lost your love’s fire. Let Him get to know you. Date Jesus! I dare you to put this on your Facebook status: I am dating Jesus! Put Him first!

Psalm 45 -New International Version (NIV)

My heart is stirred by a noble theme
    as I recite my verses for the king;
    my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.
You are the most excellent of men
    and your lips have been anointed with grace,
    since God has blessed you forever.
Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one;     clothe yourself with splendor and majesty.
In your majesty ride forth victoriously     in the cause of truth, humility and justice;
    let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.
Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies;     let the nations fall beneath your feet.
Your throne, O God,[c] will last for ever and ever;     a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
You love righteousness and hate wickedness;     therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
    by anointing you with the oil of joy.
All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia;     from palaces adorned with ivory
    the music of the strings makes you glad.

9 Daughters of kings are among your honored women;
    at your right hand is the royal bride in gold of Ophir.
10 Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention:     Forget your people and your father’s house.
11 Let the king be enthralled by your beauty;     honor him, for he is your lord.
12 The city of Tyre will come with a gift,[d]     people of wealth will seek your favor.
13 All glorious is the princess within her chamber;
    her gown is interwoven with gold.
14 In embroidered garments she is led to the king;     her virgin companions follow her—
    those brought to be with her.
15 Led in with joy and gladness,     they enter the palace of the king.
16 Your sons will take the place of your fathers;
    you will make them princes throughout the land.
17 I will perpetuate your memory through all generations;     therefore the nations will praise you forever and ever.
